We run seminars to bring law firm staff up-to-speed with eDiscovery, particularly in relation to the new High Court e-discovery rules.  Seminars are often held at lunch time, to cause less disruption to your working day.

Important: CPD points can be claimed for attending our seminars.

eDiscovery 101 – 1 hour

Our most popular seminar, eDiscovery 101 provides a practical understanding of the new e-discovery rules and a detailed explanation of the entire e-discovery process, from collection and review through to production.

This is an educational seminar that’s software agnostic – it’s not trying to sell you anything. From how to transform hard copies into PDFs to processing native electronic files, eDiscovery 101 is thorough and engaging. It empowers people to approach the e-discovery process with confidence.

The Discovery Checklist – 1 hour

This seminar is for those who want more detailed information about the pre-discovery process, which is covered at a high level in our eDiscovery 101 seminar.  Content includes an overview of the discovery checklist, planning and strategies, and working with opposing parties.

Listing and Exchange Protocol – 1 hour

A specialised seminar that takes a detailed look at the listing and exchange protocol, as set out in the High Court e-discovery rules. Content includes default listing and exchange protocol, compliance, pitfalls and efficiency shortcuts.

Data collection for e-Discovery – 1 hour

Data collection is perhaps the most technically rigorous and complex of all the e-discovery phases.

This educational seminar seeks to clarify the misconceptions surrounding data collection by exploring what a “collection” is, collection methodologies, developing a collection strategy, and a discussion on best practices and available tools.
